JAROD

Jarod, a native of Paris, France, has been a music admirer since his formative years. His earliest influences were rooted in French touch, which fostered a genuine admiration for creators such as Daft Punk, Ed Banger, and Bromance Records.

At the age of fifteen, Jarod's life took a decisive turn when he decided to purchase DJ equipment during a trip to San Francisco. Since that day, he has dedicated himself to perfecting his DJ and producing skills, focusing all his time and energy on refining his craft.

He became a member of the music and clothing collective Nasaseasons in 2014. Playing at “cool kids” events across Europe, Jarod perfected his sets which are to this day still recognisable by a surprising yet balanced blend of textures and inspirations, creating a profound emotional connection with the crowd.

In 2016, he secured a residency at Le Pompon, which was defined by many as Paris’ underground scene hotspot and a cosmopolitan creative melting pot. During his time there he gained exposure to a wider range of audiences and musical movements, whether it was by playing for up & coming Korean musicians or at Fashion Week parties hosted by high profile brands.

Strong of that experience, Jarod then moved to London where his residencies in some of the city’s historical clubs helped him acquire valuable insight into the intricacies of performing for larger audiences. It is also in London that Jarod perfected his producer craft, spending his days in a Nothing Hill studio, working along side some of the most prominent artists of London’s electronic scene.

After his time in London, Jarod returned to his hometown, Paris. There he set up his personal studio and a sound design & music curation practice while continuing to push boundaries and inspire audiences with his sets blending house, minimal and electro.
